September 24 is National Punctuation Day - every year!

How I recommend you celebrate:

First, it’s about time you learn how to correctly use the semicolon.

2. The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation

Second, buy a punctuation book to help guide you. Two of my favorites:

1. “The Best Punctuation Book, Period” by June Casagrande

2. “Grammatically Correct” by Anne Stilman

On past National Punctuation Days, I celebrated by purchasing designer punctuation cookies to share with my coworkers, as you can see in the photo.

It was a fun time with lots of laughs, especially hearing the comments about eating a colon cookie! LOL
